✨ Key Functions of the Divisional Commissioner ✨
- ✅ Leadership: Heads the Revenue Administration, Zilla Parishad, and Local Government bodies in the Division.
- ✅ Development Oversight: Ensures smooth implementation of development programs, including poverty alleviation, civil supplies, employment generation, drinking water, health, education, and infrastructure.
- ✅ Coordination: Ensures effective coordination among government departments and public organizations.
- ✅ Issue Resolution: Identifies and removes bottlenecks in development program execution.
- ✅ Legal & Appeals: Handles appeals related to Revenue Department, Zilla Parishad, Village Panchayat Act, Slum Act, Entertainment Duty Act, etc.
- ✅ Supervision & Control: Monitors and guides Collectors, CEOs of Zilla Parishads, Superintendents of Police, and Municipal Councils.
